Lillis Ballroom wins the “Prize of Diversity 2025” for its extraordinary commitment in the field of diversity, diversity and inclusion. The award (category SME) was awarded to the inclusive dance studio as part of the diversity ball on September 6, 2025 in the Vienna City Hall.

Social openness
Lillis Ballroom follows the vision of making dancing accessible to everyone and thus reducing barriers and prejudices. From the beginning, the team developed a form of teaching together with blind, visual impaired and sighted dancers. This resulted in the inclusive and barrier -free dance studio Lillis Ballroom for more diversity and joy in learning Tango Argentino, regardless of vision, age, cultural origin, sexual orientation, religion or gender identity.
Tango Blind Dance as a team experience
The concept of dancing the tango blind is also particularly suitable as a team building format for companies that want to integrate this offer into your seminar. The tango thus becomes a tool for leadership, non -verbal communication and mindful cooperation. When it comes to the tango dancing, guidance can be experienced directly: Those who lead must be clear and at the same time receptive. Whoever follows needs trust and responsibility.
