Vienna (OTS) – Sonja Kleindienst will be leading the LIGHT INTO DARK Christmas broadcasts on December 23rd, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. and on December 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. from the ORF Theater in Klagenfurt – to be seen on ORF 2 K.
On December 23rd, ORF Kärnten will bring viewers into the Christmas spirit, review the past year of LIGHT INTO DARKNESS and look at upcoming activities. In the LICHT IN DUNKEL program on December 24th, ORF Kärnten invites you to a wonderful Christmas program. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., prominent guests will tell Christmas stories and musically get the audience in the mood for Christmas. The LICHT INS DUNKEL live band consisting of Karen Asatrian on the piano and the ORF employees Hannes Wallner on the guitar, Walter Olschan on the bass and Martin Furian on the drums will accompany the studio guests. Sonja Kleindienst welcomes, among others, the musicians Nik P., Ina Regen, Oskar Haag, the Mayerin, the actors Julian Waldner and Julia Cencig as well as the choir director Hedi Preissegger. They bring with them gifts from times gone by that bring back memories.
The Christmas broadcast presents many institutions, projects and families that have been supported thanks to donations to LICHT INS DUNKEL. Inclusion, which LICHT INS DUNKEL has stood for for decades, will also be a topic. We will also take a look at the past LIGHT IN THE DARK year 2023 and the countless actions that were initiated for people in need.
There is also wonderful folk music and choral music, which creates the right atmosphere with Christmas sounds. Among others, with the ensemble “Pappalatur Manufaktur”, the wind group “Die Musketiere”, the integrative music group “Musica Kontakt”, the ensemble “Klagenfurter Saitenklang” and with Colonel Didi Pranter with a wind ensemble from the Carinthian Military Music and the children’s choir St. Ursula with one Commemorative piece from the large military music festival in aid of LICHT INS DUNKEL. And last but not least, the large LIGHT INTO DUNKEL choir, consisting of employees of the ORF regional studio in Carinthia, awaits the viewers.
