The company LichtBlick Energy as a Service, a nationwide provider of complete solar solutions, is now relying on the planning and solar design expertise of Solar Aurora. The software company supports the subsidiary of the integrated energy supplier LichtBlick in designing the customer process – from the initial offer to installation. Important functions of various tools are bundled and mapped using software.
“The partnership with Aurora Solar allows us to offer our customers an even more efficient and seamless service,” says Alexander Vogt, Head of Product & Technology at LichtBlick Energy as a Service. “By integrating Aurora Solar’s advanced planning and sales technologies, we can enhance the customer experience and provide them with a tailored offer more quickly. This allows us to further shorten the entire process.”
Katharina MeranGeneral Manager DACH, adds about the partnership: “LichtBlick Energy as a Service focuses on the customer experience and is not afraid to convert central processes in a future-oriented manner. We are therefore particularly pleased about this collaboration. Together we are doing our part “To bring photovoltaics onto German roofs more easily, quickly and more precisely – and thus accelerate the energy transition.”
Step by step to implementation
To ensure precise and efficient planning, LichtBlick Energy as a Service uses Aurora Solar’s Expert Design Service (EDS). An expert team of trained planners delivers ready-to-use planning within three hours, even for complex roof surfaces. For this purpose, a workflow including an API interface was developed, tested and integrated into the CRM of LichtBlick Energy as a Service together with the local German Aurora Solar team.
Optimizing the sales team through AI-based software
LichtBlick Energy as a Service uses Aurora Solar’s sales suite to completely digitally map the process from the initial offer to detailed planning. Interested homeowners are prequalified using satellite data and LiDAR data (three-dimensional laser scanning). For the first customer appointment, an initial offer is created, which includes, among other things, a convincing 3D model, shading analysis and yield forecasts. Aurora Solars EDS may then be used in the detailed planning of the offer. The creation of offers for customers is supported by artificial intelligence and includes AI suggestions for 3D roof planning, including roof pitch and height via LiDAR, as well as the module assignment and design of string and micro inverter systems.
