“The next great success of Veronika Aigner,” congratulates Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner on the gold medal of the ski athlete at the giant slalom at the Para-Ski World Cup in Maribor in Slovenian. Lower Austria’s para athlete of 2024 prevailed with her guide sister Elisabeth with a lead of almost four seconds ahead of Italian Chiara Mazzel. “A sensational performance in difficult slopes – all the more attention is to be classified,” emphasized the governor, who only met Aigner a few weeks ago at the Ski World Cup at the Semmering and wished her every success for the upcoming World Ski Championship.
