Vienna (OTS) On June 19th LexisNexis invited people to the annual summer party in the MQ Libelle above the rooftops of Vienna. This year, the event was dedicated to the rapid developments in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence and their impact on the legal, economic and tax worlds.

She announced a “game changer” for the visibility of these works: LexisNexis International is at the forefront of the global development of Generative Artificial Intelligence, the technology behind ChatGPT. According to the International Monetary Fund, AI will transform 60% of all jobs in Austria. Andreas Geyrecker, Director Product, explained LexisNexis’ specific plans. The company has already launched a GPT-like AI assistant called Lexis+ AI in the US, UK and France, and is working hard to make this technology accessible to the Austrian legal industry. Geyrecker emphasized that LexisNexis attaches great importance to safety and responsibility for all products, especially AI, and already meets the requirements of the EU AI Act. Kathrin Hagenauer, Director Content, spoke about the impact of AI on specialist content. She looks forward to entering this new era together with the authors, in which specialist content can be made accessible in a faster, broader and more precise form. LexisNexis works closely with an external team of specialists led by lawyer Dr Axel Anderl, who is known as a renowned AI expert and is an author himself.

At the end there were culinary delicacies, cocktails and a candy bar in wonderful weather. DJ Leo provided musical entertainment until late into the warm summer night.
