Vienna, November 28, 2024 | “LET’S BLEND” was the motto of the evening, which was all about the Lavazza 2025 calendar. For its 130th anniversary, Lavazza presents the 2025 calendar – created by young artist Omar Victor Diop, who interprets the concept of “blending” developed by company founder Luigi Lavazza. At the exclusive calendar presentation in the traditional stables in the Museum Quarter, guests such as ex-tennis player Barbara Schett, former AS Roma football professional Michael Konsel, ballet dancer Rebecca Horner, soon-to-be dancing star Stefan Koubek, mumok director Karola Kraus and restaurateur & Chef Arne Anker embarked on a journey that united tradition and origins, growth and the perspective of a common future.
Omar Victor Diop brings together the liveliness of his home culture with the elegance of Renaissance painting in his works for the Lavazza Calendar 2025. The calendar shows four “Living paintings“, in which the meaning of exchange and “blending” are the focus in different facets. Inspired by the symbolic power of the seasons, the colors light blue, pink, green and ocher visualize the interplay of different times, origins, cultures and perspectives, which Lavazza has anchored as an indispensable value in the company since it was founded in 1895. The series of images is depicted by 36 people from the Lavazza world – including internationally known personalities such as Whoopi Goldberg and the Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, who appear side by side with employees, Lavazza ambassadors, baristas, trainers and long-term partners.
With the motto “Let’s Blend – 130 years forwardLavazza looks to the future without neglecting the values that have shaped the company over a century. The concepts “Blending Times”, “Blending Roots”, “Blending Cultures” and “Blending Minds” connect different cultures, generations and perspectives in the calendar’s triptychs. This creates a collective image that reflects the diverse roots and roles of the extended Lavazza family.
That evening, Lavazza invited people to a very special calendar exhibition in the stables of the Vienna Museumsquartier. The guests could sit along a long dinner table Barbara Schett, Michael Konsel, Rebecca Horner, Nico Langmann, Eser Akbaba, Karola Kraus, Stefan Koubek and Mauro Maloberti Not only marvel at the calendar images, but also immerse yourself in the motto “Let’s Blend”. Over refreshing coffeetails and a classic Italian dinner, different cultures and generations mixed together to exchange perspectives and share stories and passions together.
