From financial education at school to the investigation

“We have excited an arc from the topic of financial education, empowerment of women to tax and legal tips to forms of assessment. The women’s thing was like a financial crash course,” says Dr. Marietta Babos. Economic professor Bettina Fuhrmann, one of the more than 20 lecturers, advocated financial education – at school and at home: “Even elementary school children begin to observe adults in financial behavior.”

You should also start saving and combined as early as possible, preferably during training or study, “there is no too late,” emphasizes Babos. “Find out more about your pension gap – and start saving and investing. 10 to 15 percent of net income should be planned for retirement provision. Tax advantages and broad diversification over time and forms of investment help to minimize risks.” Anyone who invests is as individual as a fingerprint. “That is why we have presented various assessment options: from Austrian government bonds to security funds and ETFs to private equity, real estate and gold.”
