Vienna (OTS) Funtime on Friday evening with explosive surprises, funny guests and casual insults: Gery Seidl surfs the waves of life in his program “Hochtief” on ORF 1 on December 1, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. and thanks you for his half-full glass. Then at 9:25 p.m. Clemens Maria Schreiner presents the most beautiful moments and unplanned incidents of the current season in “Fact or Fake – Highlights and Oops”. And at 10:35 p.m. Oliver Baier’s “What’s New?” will be Christmassy: Omar Sarsam, Caroline Athanasiadis, Thomas Maurer, David Scheid and Viktor Gernot celebrate “Cookie Cutter Day”.

“Gery Seidl: Hochtief” at 8:15 p.m

When the former construction site manager and current top cabaret artist Gery Seidl talks about “Hochtief”, there are two possibilities: it’s about high-altitude construction or about the ups and downs of everyday life. Ideally, he combines this – because he can transform absurd everyday situations into humorous scenes like no other.

“Fact or Fake – Highlights and Oops” at 9:25 p.m

Moderator Clemens Maria Schreiner practices being a magic teacher, his interested students Günther Lainer, Nadja Bernhard and Michael Ostrowski can practice on the heavy equipment: the careful operation of a magic wand. Angelika Niedetzky, Manuel Thalhammer and Andreas Vitásek do couch sports and puzzle out how an incorrect pull-up can be physically possible from a sitting position. The dream team of sports humor, Philipp Jelinek, Lydia Prenner-Kasper and Hannes Reichelt, takes a history lesson and answers the question of whether the Vikings really wore helmets. Selina Graf, Robert Palfrader and Gregor Seberg are musical, they make metal pipes sing. The absolute highlight of the show is delivered by Angelika Niedetzky when she opens a wine bottle.

“What’s new?” at 10:35 p.m

It’s very Christmassy in Oliver Baier’s advice team: “Cookie Cutter Day” offers sweet questions and tasty jokes. Omar Sarsam, Caroline Athanasiadis, Thomas Maurer, David Scheid and Viktor Gernot, among others, puzzle over the “mirror cut”. This week the celebrity question is asked by Uwe Kröger: He wants to know what is known in technical jargon as the “piano plague”.
