What appropriately began on January 15, 2017 with the topic “Talking is silver, acting is gold – is there really a new government now?” will end on December 15, 2024 at 10:10 p.m. on ORF 2 and on ORF ON. After eight years and 274 broadcasts, Claudia Reiterer presents the last edition of “IM ZENTRUM”. The topic is: “Are we REALLY allowed to say no more? – Let’s talk about it.”
The Sunday discussion round went on air for the first time under this title on April 15, 2007, bringing a total of 654 broadcasts. The permanent hosts during this period were Gabi Waldner, Peter Pelinka, Elmar Oberhauser, Ingrid Thurnher and Claudia Reiterer. From January 12, 2025, Susanne Schnabl will be inviting you to the newly adapted talk show on Sunday evenings.
In the eight years with Claudia Reiterer as host, “IM ZENTRUM” was the undisputed number one among the weekly political discussion programs in Austria, with an average reach of 454,000 viewers and a 21 percent market share. The show reached its top value on May 19, 2019 (keyword Ibiza video) with an average of 1.102 million viewers. “IM ZENTRUM” was the undisputed number one in the country most recently in 2024 with an average reach of 339,000 and a 19 percent market share. The edition on October 6th reached first place in the 2024 reach ranking with 485,000 and a 27 percent market share.
