He was in Vienna for the first time in 2007, most recently the EADV 2016 made a guest appearance in the city. The European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV) was founded on October 3, 1987 in Luxembourg as a non -profit association and is now based in Switzerland. The first EADV congress took place in Florence in 1989 with more than 3,000 participants: inside. Today the EADV has over 11,000 members from all over the world. Their goal is to improve clinical care, research, education and training in the areas of dermatology and venerology. The focus of the congress is on the presentation of scientific knowledge through symposia, practical workshops and plenary lectures. Vienna Meeting Fund as an acquisition turbo
With the help of the Vienna Meeting Fund, the city of Vienna has been promoting congresses and company events in Vienna since 2021. The fund has a total volume of 12 million euros. It is aimed at national and international organizations and institutions that are planning a meeting in Vienna. The maximum funding level per event is 60,000 euros, with sustainability aspects and the occupancy of the subject of weak months are a prerequisite for the use of the full funding. Submissions are possible by three weeks before the start of the event.
