On May 31 and June 1, 2025, the Carinthian Nockberge around Bad Kleinkirchheim will again become the center of the Austrian cycling scene. The Radclub Feld am See invites you to the traditional Arbö Carinthia Cycling Marathon and the popular Nockbike-MTB trophy. With the motto “Ladys First”, the female guests are particularly focused on this year. Just a week later, the bike area opened in Obermillstatt with Carinthia’s first XXL airbag.

The start will take place on Saturday, May 31 with the Nockbike-MTB trophy. The 20 -kilometer route leads from Feld am See to the Feldpannalm and further towards Maibrunnhütte, where Europe’s longest Flow Country Trail forms the sporty final. It is important to overcome over 1000 meters of altitude. “Nothing for weak calves,” laughs OK boss Unterköfler.
New this year: a separate Team competition for mountain bikers: inside. It starts on Saturday at 12:00 p.m., the award ceremony will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the Kaiserburg valley station. A bike holiday in the region is the main prize. The youngest can do their best with the popular Kids-Race, while at the charity-skill challenge, celebrities from sport, politics and business are getting on the bike for a good cause.
Outlook: Bike action with Carinthia’s first airbag
Just a few days later, the next highlight for all bike fans follows: On June 7, 2025, a bike area opened in Obermillstatt with Carinthia’s first XXL airbag that enables safe jumping training for every level. While beginners: on the inside of twelve trails in the Skill Center Technik, advanced users try in the dirt park. The opening on June 7th and 8th is accompanied by workshops, music and test opportunities.
