Vienna (OTS) – The KURIER editorial team mourns the loss of their music critic Peter Jarolin (52), who died unexpectedly.
“He was a highly competent, educated, humorous, loyal and incredibly kind person who we will miss very much. Jarolin is irreplaceable for the cultural editorial team and for the entire KURIER. There is virtually no one in the cultural sector who didn’t particularly like him,” say editor-in-chief Martina Salomon and his long-time department heads Gert Korentschnig and Georg Leyrer.
Kurier managing director Richard Grasl: “With Peter Jarolin, the KURIER is not only losing one of its best colleagues, but also one of the best music critics in Austria. His reviews of concerts and operas were required reading for every music lover.”
