Vienna (OTS) – “Kratky is looking for happiness” – and finds Michi Buchinger in this edition of the talk series. The cabaret artist, social media star, author, podcaster and “Dancing Stars” participant always speaks openly about his mental health – including in a talk with Robert Kratky on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 11:05 p.m. on ORF 1 .
Michi Buchinger talks about his obsessive thoughts as a child, experiences with psychotherapy, bullying at school and his anorexia nervosa. In the talk, he says that it becomes easier when you talk about things that concern you: “Hopefully we all have a person in our lives that we can reasonably trust. And that’s where I would start. If we don’t have this person, there are hotlines like the Ö3 helpline where you can call. It has always helped me to say what bothers me. Then it will become easier and easier for me.”
On the occasion of “40 years of the Ö3 sorrow number”, Ö3 alarm clock presenter Robert Kratky invites well-known faces to a conversation about psychological problems in order to draw attention to the taboo topic. The further episodes of “Kratky sucht das Glück” feature singer-songwriter NESS, influencer Anna Strigl and entrepreneur, whatchado founder and EU youth ambassador Ali Mahlodji.
