In 2022, the company developed an environmentally friendly extraction process using sunflowers, cranberries and star flowers, which reduced CO2 emissions by 83 % and at the same time increased the effectiveness of the active ingredients by 870 %. This innovation, which is used in the Clean Beauty Sonnen cream 2023, was certified by the Korean Ministry of the Environment as a “Green Technology Product”. In the same year, Kolmar Korea replaced microplastics in color cosmetics with natural silicon dioxide, a mineral that is known for its pore -caring and talent -regulating effect.
