Vienna (OTS) “How does Austria vote?” is the title of “Klartext” on Wednesday, January 31st at the ORF RadioKulturhaus, starting at 6:30 p.m. SPÖ Federal Managing Director Sandra Breiteneder, FPÖ General Secretary Christian Hafenecker and ÖVP General Secretary Christian Stocker will discuss with Klaus Webhofer.

Ever since Chancellor Karl Nehammer’s speech in Wels, there has been a strong smell of an election campaign in this country. It remains to be seen whether the election will take place in the fall as planned or whether it will be brought forward to the spring. In any case, three parties are claiming the Chancellery: the Freedom Party, the Social Democrats and the People’s Party want to see their men govern at Ballhausplatz in the future. The next National Council election is being hyped up as a directional decision, and chancellor duels are being called. Inflation will be an important issue in the election year. What other issues do you want to tackle in the election campaign? Steer? Inequality? As usual, the foreigner issue? Will Corona still be a factor? What are the arguments for and against an early election? Klaus Webhofer discusses this in “Klartext” with the party managers of the three parties from whose ranks the next chancellor will probably come:
SPÖ federal manager Sandra Breiteneder, FPÖ general secretary Christian Hafenecker and ÖVP general secretary Christian Stocker.

“Klartext” will take place on Wednesday, January 31st in the ORF RadioCafe and will be broadcast live on Ö1. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. However, due to the limited number of places, a binding registration via the ticket office is required.
