“Keep left-wing transgender ideology away from our children!”

“It cannot be the case that our youngest children are already being indoctrinated with the woke transgender ideology,” says FPÖ Lower Austria education spokesman LAbg. Michael Sommer, criticizing the distribution of “enlightenment books” to 9- and 10-year-old elementary school students as part of a trial day a middle school in the Mostviertel on Friday.

For the liberal, the child’s well-being comes first. “Our children should be allowed to remain children! It’s about a carefree, happy childhood at the age of 9 or 10 and not about unbelievable early sexualization with rainbow propaganda. Something like that has no place in middle schools, and certainly not among elementary school students,” explains Sommer, who can only shake his head at the content of the booklet – from the explanation of the terms crossdressers and intersexuals to role play.

“Instead of using our children as instruments for rainbow propaganda, the dangers of political Islam should, for example, be explained. Our children must be prepared for their future lives in schools and develop fun in learning. The threat to healthy development caused by such actions must be stopped,” the FPÖ education spokesman demands clarification and consequences for those responsible.
