The recently newly appointed Supervisory Board of ASFINAG came together on Wednesday, July 23, to his first constituent session. The election of the Presidium was in the foreground. The six supervisory board members elected Karin Zipperer as the new chairman of the Supreme Control committee of ASFINAG. Karin Zipperer, spokeswoman for the management of the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR) GmbH, has many years of experience as a supervisory board and top manager of important mobility and infrastructure companies. With the managing director of Vienna Holding GmbH, Oliver Stribl, the committee opted for a proven expert in participation management for the position as the first deputy.
Quote Karin Zipperer:
“ASFINAG is one of the most important infrastructure companies in the country and a Europe-wide best-practice model for the financing, the construction and operation of the high-ranking road network. I am pleased to be able to accompany the Asfinag as chairman of the supervisory board with the future challenges in particular with regard to the mobility turn. Experts from the company bring in my longstanding expertise in this area in order to shape tomorrow’s mobility together. “
