Kapo windows and doors celebrate the same celebration at the future -oriented location Ökopark Hartberg

Kapo Fenster und Türen GmbH invited to the traditional same celebration of its new production site in the Hartberg Ökopark on Friday, July 25, 2025. Around 150 invited guests, including representatives of the companies involved in the building, kapo employees, long -term suppliers and customers, prominent guests from politics and business as well as neighbors, celebrated this important milestone in construction progress.

The shell of the new production facility, which is built in a massive timber construction, which is built on a former building mass dining sponor and thus represents a showcase project for area revitalization, has been completed. The overall project comprises two production halls with a usable area of approx. 2,100 m² or 2,300 m², an connected infrastructure tract of around 310 m² and a separate office building for sales and administration including showroom and training center with around 600 m².

In his speech emphasized Stefan Polzhofer, Managing Director of Kapo Fenster and Türen GmbHthe central importance of the new building for the future of the company: “When we made the decision for this new building, three things were of central importance for us: sustainability, regionality and innovation. Sustainability because it is deeply rooted in the DNA of Kapo. We work with the wonderful, renewable raw material wood. It was therefore a matter of course for us, even at our new home. decided on this property – a former rubble landetal in order to avoid valuable area sealing. ”

Polzhofer emphasized the impressive work of the professionals: “What we see here today is the impressive and visible work of the professionals – the master builder, the carpenter, the electrician and many more. Our sincere and warm thank you for the excellent performance!” Polzhofer also thanked the general planner Michael Eckhart for the previous cost and schedule. Special thanks went to their own employees who, in the background, intensively on adapting the product range to the new, state -of -the -art machines and systems and creating the digital requirements for production. “Your work, dear colleagues, is the foundation on which the efficiency and innovative strength of this new work will build. I would also like to thank you very much today!” Said Polzhofer together with Propurist Christian Fuchs.

Marcus Martschitsch, Mayor of HartbergThe importance of Kapo for the region was recognized: “Kapo is not only a traditional company, but also an important employer in our region. This construction project is impressive in its uniqueness – a former rubble landing is revitalized, and that is without any additional area sealing. This is a strong signal for environmental protection and sustainable development and, I know, not only in the region, but not only in all in Austria.”

Also Architect Herwig Bachler was impressed by the construction progress: “The half -timbered construction of the new Kapo production facility is not only aesthetically appealing, but also a confession to the building material wood and sustainable architecture. It is impressive to see how traditional construction is connected to the latest requirements for a production facility here.”

Among the numerous guests were representatives of companies involved in the construction, among other things, from suppliers such as Egger Glas, Remmers, Hechenblaickner, Weinig and Würth, representatives of the financial partners BKS Bank and Styrian Business Development Society MBH (SFG), regional partners such as TSV Hartberg and AMS Hartberg and the advertising agency Cidcom, as well as neighbors, including Andy Wolf and the Stadtwerke Hartberg and representatives of customers such as Vinzenz Harrer Holzbau.

The new Kapo plant in the Hartberg Ökopark is a strong symbol for the future of the company and its uncompromising ecological approach. It underlines Kapo’s role as a pioneer in the industry and as a responsible partner in the region. The completion and move to the new work is planned by the end of 2025.
