Over 300 extraordinary lots are offered, including iconic clothing that Diana, Princess of Wales, has worn – many of them have never been seen at an auction before. The outstanding pieces include an evening dress by Catherine Walkon Falcon from 1986 (estimate: $ 200,000-300,000), a floral daily dress from Bellville Sasso from 1988, a three-part escada suit that she wears in a photo, and her scarlet skiing head Head. Shoes, handbags and accessories can also be seen, such as: B. the peach -colored hat by John Boyd and her handbag made of lambskin from Lady Dior in 1981.
The auction also includes auctioned fashion designs and personal objects of the British royal family, including pieces that are connected to Queen Elisabeth II, Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother and the Duke and the Duchess of Windsor. The highlights include the fashion dissolving of Princess Margaret von Norman Hartnell, her antique bracelet of diamonds and natural beads as well as a givenchy dress by the Duchess of Windsor.
The British designer Elizabeth Emanuel, famous for the participation of Diana’s wedding dress in 1981, contributes selected personal archive pieces and sketches. “Diana’s timeless beauty and her style still inspire us,” said Emanuel. “It is an honor for me to share these memories with the world.”
Part of the proceeds from the sale of Diana’s articles comes Muscular Dystrophy UK to be honored to honor their charity.
Julien’s auction is the auction house, which set up the world record for the sale of Diana’s evening dress in 2023 worth $ 1.14 million and its shoes in 2024 worth $ 390,000.
