The pharmaceutical industry employs around 18,000 people in Austria. AbbVie currently has over 170 employees at its Vienna location to enable innovative research and solve serious health problems. AbbVie is currently conducting over 35 clinical studies in Austria and is therefore integrated into the international research network. “There is a vision that Austria will become the pharmacy of Europe. Because in the face of intra-group competition, it is not a given to bring clinical studies to Austria. We need ongoing advertising because we have an excellent study infrastructure in this country.
