Johanna Mikl-Leitner/Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister wish 200,000 students in Lower Austria a successful start to school

On Monday, September 2nd, the school bells will ring again for around 200,000 students in Lower Austria. State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner wishes all students a good start to the new school year and emphasizes: “Education is the foundation for a successful and self-determined life. Our aim in Lower Austria is that our schools will continue to be among the best in the country in the future. We are committed to this with all our might – that’s how Lower Austria works.”

State Councilor Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister added: “For the 18,844 Tafel classmates who are visiting school for the first time today, it is an unforgettable day that they will remember for the rest of their lives. My special thanks go to the approximately 22,000 dedicated educators whose commitment every day ensures that our children receive the best possible education.”

Mikl-Leitner and Teschl-Hofmeister agree that Lower Austria has the best opportunities for young people. “Optimal conditions and high-quality education are the basis for a successful future for our children,” concluded the state governor.
