With Anna Maria bother, Robert Palfrader, Michou Friesz, Yousef Sweid and others; Filming locations for six new episodes in Tyrol, Lower Austria and Vienna
Vienna (OTS) – Filming for the sequel to the ORF/Netflix hit series “Totenfrau” started in mid-February 2024. Anna Maria bother takes on the role of undertaker Blum once again; the series is filmed based on the motifs of Bernhard Aichner’s “Dead Woman” trilogy. In addition to Vienna and Lower Austria, the Tyrol mountains are once again the scene of the action. Director Daniel Prochaska stages the six new, exciting episodes with Robert Palfrader, Michou Friesz, Yousef Sweid, Gerhard Liebmann, Peter Kurth, Britta Hammelstein and Dominic Marcus Singer, among others. The camera is directed by Anna Hawliczek, the scripts were written by Barbara Stepansky, Marcel Kawentel, Timo Lombeck, Benito Mueller, Wolfgang Mueller and Mike Majzen. Filming will continue until mid-May. Broadcast date: 2025 on ORF 1!
The flower is back! After the TV premiere in November 2022 on ORF 1 – with up to 26 percent market share (12+) and an average of 676,000 viewers per episode – and placements in Netflix’s global top 10 lists for non-English language series, it is now being created Among other things, in the impressive backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps, the second season of “Dead Woman”: Brünhilde Blum is caught up in her past – the hunter becomes the hunted! When parts of another body are discovered in the coffin of a deceased person, the undertaker is again targeted by the police and is arrested. During the interrogation she is confronted with the news that her daughter Nela has been kidnapped. Blum is supposed to release a video in exchange, which she doesn’t even own! She is forced not only to escape the police and Inspector Wallner, who are on her trail, but also to resist the machinations of the shady businessman Sarkissian. But to save Nela, the “dead woman” is ready to do anything.
In addition to Peter Kurth as the shady businessman Sarkissian and Inspector Wallner, played by Britta Hammelstein, who wants to arrest Blum by all means possible, Blum’s opponents are the ice-cold entrepreneur Johanna Schönborn (Michou Friesz), whose son Blum has on his conscience. Other roles include Sabine Timoteo, Lucas Gregorowicz, Roland Silbernagl, Emilia Pieske, Lilian Rosskopf and Hayal Kaya.
