Invitation to the VIDA press conference – defect list: Fall for local bus drivers: Inside

The Vida Vienna union invites you to a press conference on the subject of “Lack of List: Fall for Local Bus Lectors: Inside” in Vienna on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The duties: inside the media are cordially invited.

The KV negotiations for the 12,000 employees across Austria stare at private bus companies. The Austria Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ) refuses to do the bus driver: Inside a noticeable improvement in its working conditions, although there is a lack of personnel in the industry. Employers prefer to rely on blackmailers: inside with red-white-red cards from outside the EU and wage dumping instead of making the industry more attractive. The bus drivers: inside defend themselves against this trap provided by the employers.

After three unsuccessful negotiation rounds, the employees therefore held company meetings across Austria from January 30 to February 5, 2025. In the press conference, we will inform you about claims and measures to improve working conditions so that the industry can again overcome the self -inflicted lack of personnel. We also take stock of the company meetings and their effects and results. After the meetings, the willingness to industrial action was queried.
