Linguistic education in kindergartens and schools must be guaranteed for all children nationwide and sustainably – through contemporary language support and through additional qualified staff in kindergartens and schools, but not through a variety of tests.

Instead of relying on standardized and selective tests such as Mika-D, which often bring more uncertainty, experts demand: Inside and educational institutions, a fundamental realignment of linguistic education:

• Individual, child -centered funding approaches based on the actual needs of the children and not on standardized test values.

• There are already diverse expertise and numerous initiatives for such a realignment, which should be brought to the center of the debate.

• Comprehensive and easily accessible information for parents, where you can find out how you can promote the multilingual language development of your children and the importance of social interactions.
