The Austrian Medical Association presents solutions to guarantee a safe supply of medication in Austria in the future.
Vienna (OTS) – In the winter that has now come to an end, Austria was once again faced with a noticeable shortage of medicines, including essential medicines in the areas of antibiotics, cough and fever syrups for children and painkillers. There is no question that these shortages are difficult to justify in one of the richest countries in the world. It is now important to finally draw the right lessons from the experiences of this cold season (and previous ones) and take immediate countermeasures – both at national and European level.
