At an international conference in Zurich on the subject “Diagnostic security and legal certainty when clarifying by barrier -free communication” the Institute for Ethics and Law in Medicine (Ierm) presents current research results. The conference takes place in cooperation with the University of Zurich, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Patient Safety and the Austrian platform Patient: Interior Safety and is devoting itself to current studies and professional solutions for overcoming language barriers in the investigation and diagnosis. International Expert: Inside, the problems and possible solutions of language barriers in healthcare and how quality and legal certainty can be achieved through video interpreting and other tools.
