Refurbished Lände Brigittenau II completed – More safety and sustainability for the Danube waterway in Vienna

The new shipping pier is another important modernization success for freight shipping on the Danube, where climate- and noise-friendly shore power systems are now available in Vienna for the first time. The Lände Brigittenau II was built as part of the “FAIRway works!” project. in the Rhine-Danube Corridor” co-financed by the EU. Together with the Climate Protection Ministry (BMK), the EU Commission representation in Vienna and viadonau, the completely renovated Lände will be inaugurated in the federal capital on August 27th.
