Was: Activists hold 1.5m high letters, forming the slogan “Straw instead of concrete”
The elections are over and a new National Council is formed in parliament. But the problem of the completely slatted floor for pigs does not go away. With this campaign, the VGT would like to remind people that the new National Council is taking on the open question of when and in what way this form of animal husbandry will be abolished. The decision must be made by June 1, 2025. The Constitutional Court has set this deadline. But there is no getting around the fact that the pigs ultimately have to get straw instead of concrete slats!
