The transdisciplinary Conference “Relationship & Binding: Interface Neurobiology & Social Work” finds on Friday, March 28, 2025from 9 a.m. in Wiener Rathaus instead of.

Contents:
Early binding experiences to caregivers play a central role in emotional, social and cognitive development. They are formative for brain development in childhood and adolescence and have a significant impact on psychological and social development in later life.

The binding theory combines human and social science approaches and is supported by current findings from brain research. It also offers potential for the exchange between science and practice in the sense of one Translational approach.

The contributions to the conference present results from neurosciences, cognitive psychology and cognitive sciences. In addition, application -related symposia from the areas of psychiatry, elementary pedagogy, social work and social pedagogy take place. The aim is to give essential impulses for the development of theoretical action and intervention concepts in the field of psychosocial help.
