Inside at Let’s Tech Day in Vienna

Get out of the classroom, into technology: Around 350 students: Inside from 10 years of age, the third Let’s Tech Day immersed in the technologies for the energy transition in Vienna on May 16, 2025. The winners were also awarded as part of the event: inside the Let’s Tech Videow competition.

Technology to attack and participate, plus a lot of interesting facts about the topic of energy transition: the enthusiasm at the numerous hands-on stations and at the various workshops at the Let’s Tech Day of the OVE Austrian Association for Electrical Engineering was great. Role models gave the students insight into their work areas and answer many interested questions. OVE Secretary General Peter Reichel: “For the conversion of our energy system, we need innovative technologies and qualified specialists who know how to deal with it. Young people offer countless opportunities to actively shape the future.

Video competition: eight videos awarded

Following the Let’s Tech Day, the award ceremony for the Let’s Tech Videow competition took place again. This year, 125 videos were submitted this year together with the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology – more than ever. An expert: Inside jury, chaired by Stevica Rakic ​​(Austrian Power Grid AG), the best students chose: Inner and apprenticeship videos about the question “How does green power supply look today and in the future?”. The winners: Inside the audience award were determined using online voting.
