At the end of 2024, the Lower Austria relief organization once again carried out a customer and an image survey. Together with Erich Werndl, Managing Director Kantar Info Research Austria, Institute for Markt- und Mittungsforschung GmbH, President Michaela Hinterholzer presented the enjoyable results of the surveys.
Satisfied customers
“In its daily work, the Lower Austria relief organization focuses on customers. The positive results of the current customer satisfaction study, which we have regularly carried out together with the market research institute Kantar, show us that we can do this very well, ”explains Michaela Hinterholzer.
Customers, both in the area of nursing and care, as well as in the area of children, youth and family, are very satisfied with the services offered and the qualifications of the employees of the Lower Austria relief organization. Satisfaction has been increased in all areas since 2022.
“The study also shows us that the demands of our customers have increased. However, we can keep up with these increased demands, ”continued the President of the Lower Austria relief organization.
79% of all respondents are very satisfied with human and social skills the employees. This is also reflected in the recommendation rate: 80% of all customers would be happy to recommend the Lower Austria relief organization.
“What we are particularly pleased about: Our customers in the area of nursing primarily appreciate individual support – and that is exactly a great advantage of house nursing compared to inpatient care. Our employees have the opportunity to coordinate nursing measures more individually to the customer, ”explains Hinterholzer.
Image survey: great awareness and high opinion
The image survey was carried out online with a representative sample of 400 respondents. For the fourth time – after 2016, 2018 and 2020 – the survey was commissioned.
90 % of the respondents know the aid organization. Above all, the core tasks of the Lower Austria aid organization are known to the Lower Austrian population: “Hauskrankenpflege”, “Home Aid”, “Nursing Advice”, “Everyday Social Processing” and “Eating on Wheels”.
Work in care and support: better than your reputation
As part of the image survey, a special focus was also on the care and care profession. And the job is obviously better than its image. Four years ago, 23% of all who worked in care would have recommended this profession, today it is a good 33%.
Physically, emotionally demanding, but above all also future -proof and sensible – this is how the nursing profession is seen. “Personal Personal People” attach great importance: the support in the team, a good working atmosphere, an independent and clearly defined area of responsibility, working in the immediate region and further training opportunities.
“Our strengths are exactly in these areas. We are constantly taking measures to position ourselves as an attractive employer, ”says President Michaela Hinterholzer and managing director Christoph Gleirscher in unison.
And further: “The staff of around 2,000 employees has been kept constant in recent years. However, in order to meet the increasing need for care for the next few years, this is not enough. Care and support is not enough in public, present in the media. The headlight, which was focused on these professional groups during the Corona period, has disappeared. We can only change that together: let’s show the positive sides of the profession! “
