Vienna (OTS) A homage to the fruit trees of Emperor Franz Joseph I and named after the well-known apple variety: the newly opened restaurant is inspired by the rich history of the house Elstar We drew a circle all the way to the Hungarian border in order to reinterpret the culinary classics of this region together with Peruvian highlights. Directly to the 140 seater and from the London design office Goddard Littlefair The idyllic 2,000 m² restaurant, designed with accents of elegant equestrian art, closes Elstar the Garden with an outdoor terrace and bar, which makes it possible to enjoy under the “Old Lady”, one of the oldest trees in Vienna, at any time of the year.

The house heralds an unforgettable summer with two event highlights: „Dirndl’s Garden BBQ“ offers culinary delights in an idyllic setting every Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., including packages that can be booked: “The BBQ” package (72 euros per person) with various grill specialties (excluding drinks), the drinks package “The Dirndl” (52 euros per person) with Viennese Dirndl cocktails, wine, soft drinks and coffee and “The Imperial Dirndl” (99 euros per person), which combines BBQ and drinks package.

From July 3rd, guests can look forward to drinks, tapas and music every second Wednesday from 6 p.m. Because that’s where the after work event starts „Padre’s Imperial Spirits“ in cooperation with Padre Azul Tequila, which can then also be tasted in the form of extravagant cocktails (between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at a special price). If it rains, after work takes place in the hotel’s bar The Farrier. No reservations – first come, first served.

The hotel’s own bar The Farrier, named after the blacksmith who fits into the historical ambience, offers a relaxed environment with fine drinks for an aperitif, night cup and everything in between. In the afternoon, guests are served coffee and tea specialties, drinking chocolate and sweet pastries, and in the later hours, fruity signature drinks such as “Fresh and Cloudy” (ginger lemongrass infused vodka, elderberry, apple juice, lemon) or “Horse Tamer” (Reisetbauer gin, grapefruit juice, Ramazzotti Rosato, peach). Bar food such as homemade sourdough lángos with either salsiccia & shallots, pastrami & cabbage or mushrooms & mountain cheese rounds off the experience.

Take-Away is a small, fine hotel shop for everyone – tourists and locals alike Cameowhich offers a hand-picked selection of sweet and savory delicacies “to go” as well as small gifts for on the go and at home.
