With the opening event “immOH! Talk” on October 3, 2024, started immOH! a series of exclusive B2B events on current and groundbreaking topics relating to the real estate industry.
A paradigm shift in the construction industry is long overdue! This was the case with the first immOH! Talk more than clear. An exciting exchange between industry experts discussed how real estate can be made more sustainable.
Arch. DI. Dr. Renate Hammer, MAS, Managing Partner of the Institute of Building Research & Innovation, opened the event with a captivating keynote on the topic “Ecologically sustainable buildings – what defines them, where we are and where we are headed”. It became clear: the future of the real estate industry is green! Creative solutions and innovative approaches already offer opportunities to make a positive contribution to greater sustainability. We just have to start using them.
In the subsequent panel discussion with Thomas Angerer from immOH!, Christian Schön from immo solutions and Renate Hammer, one thing became clear: sustainable building is not a trend, but a necessity. If we build ecologically, then we can think ecologically. Sustainable lifestyles require places that are designed accordingly – and thus enable a green future. Achieving this goal requires creative approaches and the courage to explore new paths. The optimistic tenor of the discussion made it clear that climate neutrality in the real estate industry is not only achievable, but also affordable.
