S&P once again confirms HYPO Upper Austria’s A+/A-1 rating and stable outlook.
HYPO OÖ has once again demonstrated its successful business development: solid growth in all segments and very good risk indicators despite the challenging economic situation. We prove ourselves to be a stable and reliable partner both for Upper Austria’s SME-driven economy, for private and public housing, and for the state itself. At the same time, we have impressively expanded our standing on the international capital market with a record volume of own issues. Linz (OTS) – The international rating agency S&P Global (“Standard & Poor’s”) has the top rating A+/A-1 (long- and short-term issuer rating) as well as the stable outlook for HYPO Oberösterreich were confirmed. This puts the Oberösterreichische Landesbank at the top of all Austrian commercial banks with its rating.

The basis for HYPO OÖ’s stability and top rating are the bank’s low-risk business model, its continued strong capital base and the good quality of its assets. S&P also cites the important role as the main bank of the state of Upper Austria and the state’s commitment as majority owner as strengths of HYPO OÖ.
Despite the continued challenging economic environment in Austria, Standard & Poor’s confirms HYPO OÖ’s stable outlook. The rating agency justifies this with the very good quality and security of the loan portfolio compared to Austria, thanks to which HYPO OÖ can look forward to stable development.
