Humanitarian international law defines a red line that must not be exceeded in warlike arguments. This is exactly what happens in Gaza every day. The Israeli authorities still block vital relief goods. The population lacks food, medical care and clean drinking water. Health facilities and ambulances become a target. The health system is about to collapse.
The Austrian aid organizations Doctors without borders and Caritas draw attention to the catastrophic location in the Gaza Strip and ask Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger to take all the means at their disposal to move the Israeli government to respect the red line of humanitarian international law. This is symbolically pulled in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the appointment.
