Vienna (OTS) – In May, Huawei’s roadshow truck stopped in Vienna. At Wilhelminenberg, those interested were able to find out about some of the global company’s most advanced technologies.
In the spring and summer, Huawei’s Enterprise Roadshow will be traveling across Europe again in 2024. On May 23rd, the “Technology Center on Wheels” was a guest in Austria for the first time this year. For one day, partners, customers and interested parties had the opportunity to find out in detail about innovative cloud and storage solutions such as the new AI-controlled data storage OceanStor A800 in the picturesque ambience of the trendy Wilhelminenberg hotel.
In addition to tours inside the truck, the program also included keynote speeches and workshops. “We were very pleased with the large number of visitors and their interest in our products and hope that we were able to provide many interesting insights into the world of Huawei with the roadshow in Vienna

Technologies for companies
The technologies on display also included Huawei’s award-winning Datacom technology, which was ranked by the Gartner Magic Quadrant as a leading solution for wired and wireless LAN infrastructures in companies, and other popular technologies that are already used in many Austrian companies.
One of the Austrian companies that relies on Huawei technology is the Vienna-based Huemer Group. “We use Huawei components for our data centers. On the one hand, the technological criteria were crucial for us. On the other hand, delivery can be quick and you get appropriate support. Overall, Huawei’s products offered the most attractive price-performance ratio for us
said Gerhard Pix, who is responsible for business development, when visiting the truck.
Sporty finish
After the technological part of the event, there was also the opportunity to try out mini golf on site – under the expert guidance of the reigning Austrian national champion Christian Gobetz, who is also president of the local mini golf association (ÖMGV). At the end of the program there were opportunities for networking.
