Bangkok (ots/PRNewswire) – On May 9, the 8th Global ICT Energy Efficiency Summit was held in Bangkok, Thailand under the theme “Green Site, Building a Brighter Future.” At this summit, Huawei Digital Power’s Site Power Facility division introduced intelligent power solutions for telecommunications for all scenarios that aim to build excellent power systems that meet network operators’ “one-time deployment and ten-year development” requirements.
- Simple: To expand the capacity of traditional power systems, multiple groups of devices must be added. Huawei Smart Power, on the other hand, is modular in design, providing on-demand configuration and flexible capacity expansion, allowing capacity to be expanded with just one set. It features high density and requires only 50% of the volume of a traditional power system, making it easier to use. It supports various energy inputs and outputs and features high compatibility and applicability. By using Huawei Smart Power, network operators then have ICT-converged power supply at their locations to develop diversified services.
- Intelligent: Intelligent circuit breakers are used for this system. Users can define the circuit breaker capacity, name, usage and group through the software. Features such as power usage authorization, smart metering, backup slicing and remote battery testing are supported. Compared to traditional power systems, this solution meets customer-specific requirements and significantly improves the flexibility, accuracy and efficiency of energy management at sites.
- Green: The efficiency of the rectifier is up to 98%. The solution supports the hybrid use of grid battery, genset battery and PV battery, which can save electricity or eliminate gensets and improve green energy quota and reliability. It supports load-level analysis and management of carbon emissions and accelerates the construction of a low-carbon network.
