Wiener Neustadt (OTS) The current values ​​of the state of Lower Austria for calculating the costs and subsidies for mobile care and support are entered into the Volkshilfe NÖ online price calculator, as are the increased care allowance and the changed deduction amounts. The costs for mobile care and support in Lower Austria are tailored to income and care allowance level and the state of Lower Austria usually subsidizes part of it. The minimum hourly rate is 14.50 euros. This applies to single people with an income of up to 1,155.84 euros, and for married couples or civil partnerships up to an income of 1,823.47 euros.

The care allowance was increased by 9.7% for all levels on January 1, 2024. Pensions of up to 5,850 euros per month were increased by 9.7%. For pensions above this, the increase is 567.45 euros per month.

“The changes have an impact on the costs of mobile care and support. Which exactly can be determined using the free online price calculator,” explains the President of Volkshilfe Niederösterreich Ewald Sacher. “If you want to calculate the costs and subsidies in advance, the online price calculator is also a valuable support.”

The online price calculator has been in use for many years and is a proven online tool. “By the end of December 2023, around 17,000 users had visited the information page,” informs the managing director of Volkshilfe NÖ and initiator of the price calculator Gregor Tomschizek. “As usual, the online price calculator was particularly in demand at the beginning of the year. January was the busiest with around 2,000 visitors, followed by February and August with around 1,600 visitors.”
