“Reports such as the attack in Munich 2 days ago or the current bloody deed in Villach are simply unbearable and the result of a completely missed asylum policy in recent years,” commented state party chairman LH deputy Udo Landbauer on Saturday afternoon in Villach.
A 23-year-old asylum seeker from Syria is said to have stabbed several people in the city center of Villach with a knife. The sad record: a 14-year-old died, some victims were injured.
“There is a total failure of the ÖVP Interior Minister who has brought nothing on asylum. Austria now needs an asylum stop immediately and has to deport leg hard. The security and integrity of our compatriots are clearly over the right of delinquent asylum seekers, ”concludes Landbauer.
