Hirter beers get gold, silver and bronze at the European Beer Star

Great joy in the Hirt private brewery: The only medium -sized private brewery in Carinthia was at the European Beer Star 2025one of the most renowned beer competitions worldwide. Under around 2,200 beers submitted from 74 categories, three Hirter beer specialties convinced the international jury of experts.

With gold in the category Vienna-Style camp, the jury crowned the Hirter 1270Bank -colored and natural, the special character of which is shaped by gently roasted, caramelized brewing alz. In the anniversary year of the Hirt private brewery, the Hirter 1270, which bears the founding year in the name, receives the gold medal.

The Hirter Rubin Bockmatured for six months, was distinguished with silver in the German-Style Dark Bock category and presents itself with unmistakable ruby ​​red color and a full-bodied, multi-layered aroma play, which is created from the combination of noble malt types.

The traditional Hirter Märzenbrewed with a Carinthian brewing barley and pure mountain spring water, got bronze in the Austrian style category and impresses with its mild carbonic acid, the harmonious body and a concise extract-a classic that is deeply rooted in the regional brewing tradition.

The three current awards are found in an impressive success story: In recent years, the beers of the Hirt private brewery have been regularly awarded to the European Beer Star- a total of 5 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.
