Anyone who explores the slopes in Bad Kleinkirchheim together with Franz Bracket, even far away
If you want to explore the winter landscape, you should take advantage of your chance on October 19th. Then
the ski emperor welcomes his fans again at the “Franz Bracket Hiking Day”. The Kaiserburgbahn opens its cabin doors at 8:30 a.m. (ticket office opens at 8:00 a.m.). At the Kaiserburgbahn mountain station everyone celebrates a mountain mass together at 10:00 a.m. before starting the hike.

Participants can choose between three routes with different
Choose difficulty levels. The ski emperor himself, Olympic ski jumping champion Martin Koch and mountain expert Hannes Wallner will accompany the hiking routes. After the autumn tour together in the heart of the UNESCO Carinthian Nockberge Biosphere Park, there is a celebration. “The Wiesernock Musi will be playing in the festival tent at the valley station of the Kaiserburgbahn from 3 p.m. Valuable prizes will also be raffled off there. The competition tickets will be handed out at the welcome desk in the morning together with a Kärntnermilch soft drink and a Franz bracket commemorative bracelet,” says organizer Gerhard Brüggler happily.
From 8:00 p.m., the Bad Kleinkirchheim rural youth invites you to the Oktoberfest party with the band Volxpop. At the morning pint on Sunday, October 20th, four traditional bands will make the festival tent sing and the hiking weekend comes to a cozy end.

Franz Klemm’s unique ski career is closely linked to Bad Kleinkirchheim. “He celebrated his first European Cup victory on our sunny slopes at the age of 18. This bond will be noticeable for everyone when we invite you to early morning skiing with Franz Klemm again this winter,” says the tourism association chairman happily Jakob Forstnig. In the ski and thermal spa resort, “Ski before 9” with the Skikaiser “clings and frets” until February:
