Herbert Pichler Inclusion Media Prize awarded

The Herbert Pichler Inclusion Media Prize for excellent reporting in the field of inclusion in the categories print media, television, radio and digital media/podcasts was awarded for the fourth time on Friday, March 28, 2025.   • Ö1 Radiokolleg (editorial team: Christoph Dirnbacher, Melissa Felsinger, Emilia Garbsch, Sandra Knopp, Anna Mark, Katharina Müllebner, Katharina Reiner, Dominic Schmid, Udo Seelhofer, Lisa Sophie Steiner, Marietta Trendl, Irmi Wutscher, Ulla Ebner) in the Radio category “Public, public, public, visible, inclusive ”(Ö1),

  • Lea de Gregorio in the digital media category with the contribution “From the feeling of having to make more than others” (ZEIT.de).

In addition, recognition prices in the categories print media (Bertram Weiß, “Research without hearing”, PM magazine) and digital media (Anna Mark, “Special School as a question”, ORF Topos) were pronounced.

The price was launched by the club light into the dark according to an idea by ORF editor Mag. Čedomira Schlapper. He is intended to appreciate the great achievements of Herbert Pichler, who died in April 2021 in a tragic accident in a tragic accident, and increase the attention of inclusion.
