Help instead of throwing away: ACP sets an example for social responsibility and social sustainability at Christmas

Many people are unable to participate in the digital world because they cannot afford the technical equipment. ACP donates valuable hardware.

Digitalization is advancing rapidly and is opening up many new opportunities for us as a society. However, not everyone can keep up with this development to the same extent. Sometimes the limited financial resources are not even enough for basic technical equipment. We therefore very much welcome the “PCs for All” initiative and want to make an active contribution to it. We are therefore happy to support this year’s Advent campaign again under the motto “Donate instead of throwing away”.

Hubertus Seeberger, Managing Director of ACP IT Solutions GmbH

Vienna (OTS) Many people are unable to participate in the digital world and e-learning because they cannot afford the necessary technical equipment. ACP actively helps and donates valuable hardware to the “PCs for All” association.

The digital divide in society is now a reality in many areas. Families with children and young people who live under difficult socio-economic conditions are particularly affected by this. If there is no financial means for basic technical equipment, these people are excluded from modern communication and the advantages of digital progress. The non-profit association “PCs for All” has been offering low-threshold help for many years and organizes the necessary technical infrastructure in collaboration with companies and private individuals. Last year alone, 20,000 devices were handed over to their new users.

ACP follows the motto: Donate instead of throwing away

ACP is also happy to support the project to enable children and young people to participate in the digital world and e-learning. Hubertus Seeberger, Managing Director of ACP IT Solutions GmbH, personally presented Peter Kraft, from the “PCs for All” association, with 8 notebooks, 9 screens and 5 docking stations. These are donated to families with children and young people who cannot afford these devices.

Hubertus Seeberger is pleased about the joint commitment: “Digitalization is advancing rapidly and is opening up many new opportunities for us as a society.

Already helped thousands of families

The non-profit organization “PCs for All” accepts used PCs, laptops, monitors and accessories in the form of donations. These devices are processed and then given free of charge to schools, charitable NGOs and people who cannot afford them themselves. This means that children and young people receive a fully functional device and can learn more easily for school, become smart and keep in touch with their family and friends. To date, the association has helped more than 22,000 families.
