At the 44th Ordinary Congress of the Green Lower Austria in the Wolkersdorf district, all the signs were released together with Federal Spokesman Werner Kogler. Under the motto „The future will be out of confidence“ have 154 Delegated all bodies re -elected. Helga Krismer from Baden, previous state spokeswoman and club chairwoman of the Greens in the Lower Austria state parliament, was with a large majority of 80% the delegate votes confirmed in their function. Helga Krismer has been running the state organization as a state spokeswoman since 2015.
“I am pleased that we come together here today to encourage each other and work together on a better Lower Austria,” said Helga Krismer in her speech. “The ÖVP in Lower Austria is no longer what it was once. It stands for standstill, we with our groups for confidence. In Mödling, a greener puts the mayor for the first time – a historical success. I would like to write a new chapter with you: Lower Austria 2040. Because what else have black and blue to tell this country? Nothing. However, we have a vision. And we face the challenges – from climate protection to brutalization in society. I want to create trust, give hope and confidently shape the future with you, ”said Helga Krismer in her application speech before the delegates.
State Managing Director Hikmet Arslan from Neunkirchen was also convincing majority of 86% the delegate votes re -elected. In his application speech, he emphasized the use of the Greens for the movement and the need to courageously tackle social, social and digital challenges:
“I start again with full conviction because I believe in this movement. The commitment of our activist is great: I see it as great, and I see it as my task to develop the organization. Success only succeeds together. We stand for cooperation and a clear course – with confidence, determination and with the certainty that we are more needed than Greens than ever,” says Hikmet Arslan.
Both elections took place without opposing candidates. The other members of the state board and the state committee were then elected.
