The Bayer management team in Austria has been filled for the second time in recent times.
Mag. (Fh) Helga Aigner MSC. will take over the management for Austria in addition to your previous tasks. The experienced financial and economic expert has been with Bayer for 29 years, most recently as head of the financial area for the Southeast Europe region. It has profound process know-how of country groups in Southeast Europe and extensive skills to carry out complex transformation projects.

Helga Aigner started her career at Bayer in Austria as a controller for the Pharma division. After only four years, she took over the management of controlling and supply chain management as Head of Business Planning and in the following years orchestrated controlling, supply chain management and customer and sales services for the entire healthcare area. Helga Aigner studied European business and entrepreneurship and keeps a master’s engineering in engineering at the Technical University of Vienna.
Mag. Mona German As of July 1, 2025, the function as Country Commercial Lead for the Pharmaceuticals division in Austria takes over.
The magistra of philosophy, journalism and communication science studied at the University of Vienna and started her career in communication advice.
Before she joined the Bayer company a year ago, Mona German worked in a leading position in Novartis’ cardiology department. She has more than ten years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in which she worked with different teams in the areas of marketing and sales. In addition, she has gained in -depth experience in the areas of leadership and transformation.
“I look forward to further improving the care of patients in Austria together with our committed pharmaceutical team. With our strong portfolio in cardiology, oncology and ophthalmology and through the close cooperation with our partners in healthcare, we want to make a noticeable difference every day,” says Mona German.
