Health care for women in Vienna and more and more pressure
Vienna (OTS) –

Ingrid Korosec, health spokeswoman for the Vienna People’s Party, and Sabine Keri, women’s spokeswoman for the Vienna People’s Party, are criticism of the massive lack of cash gynecologists in Vienna. “The current report on the lack of 16 cash register gynecologists in our city must be a wake-up call for all those responsible. This is not an abstract problem-it affects health and well-being of thousands of women,” said Korosec and Keri.

Both further: “The fact that around 30 percent of gynecological practices no longer accept new patients and the average waiting time is 32 days is unacceptable. The primary care units promised by SPÖ and NEOS can remedy the remedial, but their expansion continues.”

Finally, Keri and Korosec make it clear: “It must not be that women in a city like Vienna have to wait months for medical care for months or forego important investigations. SPÖ and NEOS have to act now – in the interest of women’s health and just health care for everyone.”
