Vienna (OTS) – To mark the 85th birthday of rock ‘n’ roll legend Peter Kraus (March 18, 2024), who shaped the popular music of the 1950s and 1960s like no other and celebrated success as an actor, the ORF is creating a TV focus. ORF 2 and ORF III are honoring the audience favorite from Friday, March 15th to Sunday, March 17th with five feature films – including the two iconic Conny and Peter music films with Cornelia Froboess – as well as an artist portrait. The jubilarian can also be seen as a guest star in “The Big Hit Surprise for Florian Silbereisen” on Saturday, March 16th. On Saturday, 3sat will also be bringing out a dacapo of this week’s ORF-2 “Theme” edition with a feature about Peter Kraus’ impressive career.
