There are also areas in which there is a need for skilled workers in Vienna and where committed Viennese find new opportunities. The waff connects people with the economy and offers the right qualifications, whether in IT, ‘green jobs’ or health professions. We also specifically promote equality in the labor market with waff’s women’s programs. This year alone we are making around 18.4 million euros available for training and further education for employed Viennese.”
