Within three years, HANDLER implemented the large-scale residential building with 324 residential units on behalf of the non-profit property developer Alpenland and the WET Wohnbaugruppe as a partial general contractor or general contractor. In October 2024, this unique project was awarded the Lower Austrian Construction Prize 2024 and achieved 3rd place. The prize money originally given to the winners, totaling 4,500 euros, was increased to 10,000 euros by the participating companies and the Sascha Bradic architectural firm and officially handed over on December 20th at the “Ö3 Christmas Miracle” fundraising campaign in Wiener Neustadt.
Music request for a donation
The Ö3 Christmas Miracle, which took place in Wiener Neustadt from December 19th to 24th, is a fundraiser for the Licht ins Dunkel association. In addition to the usual Christmas miracle deal of “music request for a donation”, there are also individual fundraising campaigns. The “Tu was” initiative makes many large and small contributions from all over Austria visible.
In front of the Ö3-Wunschhütte, Tom Walek, who was ranked “4th” for the first time. Mann” was part of the Ö3 Christmas miracle team, the project partners and their dream hit “You’ve Got The Love” von Florence + The Machine received. The donation amount was passed on to the Licht ins Dunkel association to support families in need in Austria.
