The online supermarket Turker Extends its own brand for hygiene paper products Moddia with sustainable products made of 100 % recycled material. The new “Purecycle” line includes cosmetic towels, kitchen rolls and toilet paper, which are made of recycled fibers of cardboard boxes and paper carrier bags. With the Purecycle products, Gurkerl sets new standards for environmentally friendly household products.

The Moddia Purecycle Line is characterized by its natural brown color – the products are unbleached and can do without the use of aggressive chemicals. Every production step, from the collection of the boxes and paper bags to the actual production of the hygiene paper products, is designed to keep the environmental impact as low as possible. The paper bags and boxes used for production are processed into soft, hard -wearing paper products for a specialized system.

The Moddia Purecycle line includes toilet paper, kitchen rolls and cosmetic towels. The toilet paper and the kitchen rolls consist of the fibers of old cardboard boxes and paper carrier bags. Their packaging is also produced as resource -saving as possible and consist of 60 % recycled plastic. The handkerchiefs come in cardboard boxes made of 100 % recycled material.

With Moddia Purecycle, Gurkerl sets an example for environmentally friendly products that are also of high quality and affordable: the Cosmetics (3-layer, 160 sheets) are available for 1.19 euros Toilet paper (3-layer, 8 roles) is available for 2.69 euros and the Kitchen roll (3-layer, two-pack) for 1.29 euros. At the same time, Gurker, with the new PureCycle products, fulfills consumers’ claims after transparency and responsibility in the food trade.

The expansion of the own brand range around the PureCycle line is part of a broader strategy from Gurkerl to expand its own brand range: currently it includes around 350 products from ten own brands that cover almost all categories-from dairy products (“Miil”) to storage articles (“kitchin”), meat products (“daacello”), delicatesses and Juices (“Pappudia”), coffee (“Ubomi”), animal needs (“Pauu”) and durable food (“Yutto”) to baby care products (“Moddia Baby”) and baby food (“Lambini”). An extension to 500 products is planned by the end of 2025.
